While one person may step forward as a candidate, it is the team that fuels the momentum. Our team is deeply passionate about this campaign and the work of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada (LLSC). We are driven by a shared commitment to supporting the blood cancer community, advancing life-saving research, and standing alongside patients and families who are navigating incredibly difficult journeys. This cause is personal, purposeful, and powerful, and we are proud to come together in support of it.  

Starting in March, our team will embark on an intense 10-week fundraising competition between philanthropic leaders in communities across Canada. Funds raised help propel critical blood cancer research, provide community services and education, and advance advocacy efforts.  

Each dollar raised from March to May equals one vote for our team. The candidate who, alongside their team, raises the most funds will win the prestigious title of “Visionary of the Year”. Last year’s winner raised more than $100,000!
