Light The Night brings communities across Canada together for one magical evening to share stories, remember loved ones lost and pay tribute to our heroes, bringing light, love and hope to dispel the darkness of blood cancers.
Once again, I am taking the first step and showing my support for this wonderful cause. I am a Blood Cancer Survivor and I want to give back to help those who are still fighting.
I am approximately 4.5 years in remission from Diffuse Large B-Cell Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma, for which I was diagnosed in late summer of 2019; I underwent a series of treatments and am currently waiting on my "Cured" status that comes after 5 years of being in remission.
In this time of uncertainty, Canadians affected by blood cancers face even more challenges. They need our support now more than ever with the ongoing blood shortages across Canada.
