Light The Night brings communities across Canada together for one magical evening to share stories, remember loved ones lost and pay tribute to our heroes, bringing light, love and hope to dispel the darkness of blood cancers.
Once again, I am taking the first step and showing my support for this wonderful cause. I am a Blood Cancer Survivor and I want to give back to help those who are still fighting.
In late summer of 2019, I was diagnosed with Diffuse Large B-Cell Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma. I underwent a series of treatments and after being in reemission for 5 years, I received my final diagnosis in November 2024 of being 100% Cured.
In this time of uncertainty, Canadians affected by blood cancers face even more challenges. They need our support now more than ever with the ongoing blood shortages across Canada.
