My Light Shines always for my Dad, 85 years old, who is a survivor of blood cancer that is in remission. For the 8th year, I have accepted the challenge to raise funds to support the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada's "Light the Night" event, on October 23, 2021. Participating and donating is my way of impacting the lives of those touched by cancer; but, I can't do it alone. Your support would mean everything to me and to those affected by blood cancers . . . You are more powerful than you know, your light dispels darkness, your light defies despair, your light defeats loneliness . . . YOU make everything possible! My garden photo is a red lantern from a previous “Light The Night” walk, and it shines for Dad as the morning sun hits it!
Please consider making a donation to this fundraising event. Happy Fall and stay safe!
Light The Night brings communities from across Canada together for a magical evening to share stories, remember loved ones lost and pay tribute to our heroes, bringing light, love and hope to dispel the darkness of blood cancers.
