MISSION: Run 120km over approx. 18 hours, "lighting up the night" and being a positive influence for all participants and volunteers of Keji's Backyard Ultra. This represents the single longest single day distance ever and the LAST major benchmark before my 100 Mile attempts this Fall.
In the spirit of charity and giving I'll also volunteer to support the event once I finish running. YES, people will be running for multiple DAYS! Loops start on the hour, every hour, until only 1 runner lines up...
I will be wearing my brightest lights all night and loudly supporting the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. I have met several blood cancer survivors and they are absolute WARRIORS - I'm ready, willing, and able to do what I can to support all families enduring the trials of disease.
For what it's worth; I'm in your corner!!!
ABOUT: Light The Night brings communities across Canada together for one magical evening to share stories, remember loved ones lost and pay tribute to our heroes, bringing light, love and hope to dispel the darkness of blood cancers."
