Why I Walk
On October 22nd, I will walk in memory of my friend Rodolphe Vivien Adikpeto, who died suddenly of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia on June 10, 2014, at the age of 30. Rodolphe had just purchased his first home and started his dream business when he was taken from us.
I will also walk to honour the legacy of Wayne Langille, beloved father of my friends Laura and Leeanne, who bravely battled Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma until he passed on October 27th, 2018. Wayne was a hard-working, devoted, family man whose values live on in his daughters every day.
My participation with Light the Night this year includes volunteering my time with the executive leadership for the LLSC, where we have set an aggressive goal of raising $1M in Halifax, and $7M nationally in 2022.
