I’m participating in honour of my dad, Jim Enman, who passed away in May 2020 from Acute Myeloid Leukemia. It wasn’t until his difficult fight with AML that I became aware of the blood cancer community and the incredible work being done by the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada.
Light The Night brings communities across Canada together for one magical evening to share stories, remember loved ones lost and pay tribute to our heroes, bringing light, love and hope to dispel the darkness of blood cancers. As well, this event raises critically needed funds in support of LLSC’s mission to cure leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma, and Hodgkin’s disease, as well as improve the quality of life of patients and their families.
