Light The Night brings communities across Canada together for one magical evening to share stories, remember loved ones lost and pay tribute to our heroes, bringing light, love and hope to dispel the darkness of blood cancers.
I am taking the first step and showing my support.
Nate Macleod was diagnosed with aml Jan 1, 2023 and tragically passed April 25 after a heroic battle. I began with being his photographer as a baby and ended up becoming a part of his family. I ended up meeting the love of my life through him, his godfather and uncle Brad. I had and still have a special connection with Nate. Even though he passed at the tender age of 16, he taught me many things. How to live in the moment, how to use chopsticks, how to paint (he was an amazing artist), how to make balloon animals, how to be neutral and how to make change someone’s mood by picking them a flower and presenting it with a silly grin. He was pure magic and I’ll always love this little guy so much. His brilliant light will shine forever. ❤ Lori
