Welcome to the RIMS Fundraising page benefitting the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada's Light The Night campaign.
Last year we launched the first annual Jim Abernethy Challenge. Jim Abernethy was a member of the Marsh family, an outstanding leader, colleague and friend who we lost after his battle with lymphoma. Jim was an avid cyclist, loved physical activity, and had a competitive spirit.
Marsh will be hosting a scenic walk on Sunday, September 11th from 2:30pm - 3:15pm starting at the clock tower at the base of Citadel Hill and ending at the Public Gardens in Halifax.
Register for the walk here: https://www.llsform.org/8101FS01/RIMSWALK/index.html
Attendees are encouraged to donate in support of the LLSC.
Light The Night brings communities across Canada together for one magical evening to share stories, remember loved ones lost and pay tribute to our heroes, bringing light, love and hope to dispel the darkness of blood cancers!
We’re proud to support the blood cancer community through Light The Night.
Blood cancers are the fifth most common form of cancer in Canada, affecting more than 155,000 Canadians—our family members, our friends and neighbours, our colleagues, ourselves. But together, we can shine a light toward a future without blood cancers.
Please consider making a donation today. Thank you for your support!
