By walking, I’m helping fund critical research, improve treatment options, and provide meaningful support to those diagnosed. This event is also about connection and healing—walking alongside others who truly understand the journey.
Each lantern tells a story: gold for remembrance, red for support, and white for those diagnosed, living with a blood cancer, or in remission. I’m proud to be part of this community and committed to making a difference—one step, one light, and one act of hope at a time.

Light The Night reminds us of the early days of my husband's MDS diagnosis. This event in 2013 gave us hope and 11 years later Terry is healthy and well thanks to his amazing team of doctors, nurses and researchers at VGH. We fundraise to offer that same hope to others walking this scary road. God is good even in the darkness times!!
