Light The Night brings communities across Canada together for one magical evening to share stories, remember loved ones lost and pay tribute to our heroes, bringing light, love and hope to dispel the darkness of blood cancers.
I’ve decided that as a tribute to the challenges that someone experiences going through a blood cancer diagnosis, I’m going to challenge myself. If you help me reach my $5,000 mark, I’m going to run a half marathon! When you help me reach my $10,000 mark, I’m going to hike the Stawamus Chief in Squamish. Lastly, when you help me reach $15,000 mark, I’m going to hike the Garibaldi Lake Trail in Whistler! While the physical endurance won’t be anywhere near the challenges experienced by someone facing cancer, it’s my small way of saying that I’m with them, that we’re with them, every step of the way.
I am taking the first step and showing my support.
