Light The Night brings communities across Canada together for one magical evening to share stories, remember loved ones lost and pay tribute to our heroes, bringing light, love and hope to dispel the darkness of blood cancers.
I am taking the first step and showing my support. Watching friends and neighbors struggle with this type of disease can make you feel helpless and I can certainly relate to that feeling of uselessness in these situations. While those we care about struggle, we can support them in many ways. We can cook meals, or help with day to day task so they don't have to worry about these things. We can be there to lend a listening ear or just sit with them as they go through treatments.
Today I am choosing to show my support by supporting an organization that is working hard to find a cure. I'm a bit late to this party as the fundraising efforts for this campaign are almost at a close, but all effort makes a difference and so I am asking my friends and associates to consider a donation to this organization. Large or small, all our efforts make a difference.
