Dear Friends and Family, As most of you know, I have had my personal challenge with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. While I am lucky enough to be 16 years past, so many people close to me continue their battles with this unrelenting form of cancer. My friend and neighbor Ken, as well as Michelle Morris, a close personal family friend. Too many more to mention. To support these amazing people I have made a commitment to do everything I can to help them, and everyone affected fight back by joining the Leukemia and Lymphoma society's Light The Night Campaign. Light The Night is the Canadian blood cancer community's largest annual gathering that brings light to the darkness of cancer. Participants form teams and raise millions of dollars for life saving research and vital support services. This year, Light The Night will be happening virtually on Saturday, October 22nd, 2022 and will bring communities across Canada together virtually for one magical evening to share stories, remember loved ones lost and pay tribute to our heroes. This year I have accepted the challenge to join Vancouver's Executive Leadership Committee for Vancouver, which brings business leaders together to raise funds, make connections and broaden the impact of Light the Night. But I can't do it alone, we are stronger when we stand together as a community and I need your help to make a difference! We have a special contributor who has pledged to match donations up to $100,000. And so for Michelle and Ken and all battling these blood cancers, please consider making a donation or even better, joining my fundraising team! Together we can put an end to blood cancers. Thank you so much for your support, Joel

We’re proud to support the blood cancer community through Light The Night.
Blood cancers are the fifth most common form of cancer in Canada, affecting more than 155,000 Canadians—our family members, our friends and neighbours, our colleagues, ourselves. But together, we can shine a light toward a future without blood cancers.
