This year, we are coming together again to make a difference in the fight against blood cancer alongside Michael?s Minions & Linda?s Angels.
There is strength in her heart, determination in her eyes, and the will to survive resides within her soul. She is my mother ? a warrior, a champion, a fighter, and a queen .
On a chilly February morning in 2023, our lives changed forever. My beautiful mother was diagnosed with MDS Leukemia. Just when we thought we were beginning to understand and navigate this new reality, another blow came on March 24th ? Breast Cancer. And in July 2024, yet another battle ? breast cancer in her right breast. That?s three cancers in just a year and a half.
Through it all, my mother faced each day with unyielding strength and resilience. On November 6, 2023, she underwent a life-saving bone marrow stem cell transplant, made possible by a selfless donor whose generosity gave her a second chance at life. To this incredible person, we are forever grateful.
Today, my mom is in remission from all three cancers ? proof that hope, faith, and community can create miracles. Her journey is a testament to the power of love, the importance of awareness, and the unstoppable spirit of a fighter.
For Michael. For Linda. For those we?ve lost. For those still fighting. For those who made it through.
As I always say ? alone we are strong, but together we are stronger.
