As most of you now know we lost our gentle but fearless leader on July 23, 2025. Fundraising efforts provided us with many extra years with our dear Allan. For me this loss has hit hard because this is an older brother, a protector, a supporter, a guide and someone who loved me unconditionally. The advances in treatment and quality of life gained because of our fundraising, thankfully we were blessed to have Allan with us far longer than we would have had he been diagnosed even ten years before he was.
Light The Night brings communities across Canada together for one magical evening to share stories, remember loved ones lost and pay tribute to our heroes, bringing light, love and hope to dispel the darkness of blood cancers.
