Each life no matter how brief, forever changes our world and our hearts.
Michael did that and then some in true warrior fashion, from the moment of his diagnosis with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia back in 2017 up until he hung up his boxing gloves and gained his wings on March 19, 2019.
How can I as his Mom truly describe the tzunami of emotions, helplessly witnessing my child fight for survival. Michael embarked into the roughest terrain of his life with unbelievable courage, determination and hope.
He ensured no love was left unspoken. Love for his family, friends and humanity in general. Voicing about the power and importance of presence, especially when times got hard. Cancer does not have a face until it's yours or some you love.
Great things are brought about and burdens are lightened through the efforts of our Minion supportors engaged in a cause very dear to our hearts. We would not be able to do what we do year after year without your support.
Remember that collectively we are making a significant impact for the countless affected by blood cancer. Our goal is one and the same to live in a world without cancer some day! Sparing other families from the magnitude of a diagnosis and the destruction left behind, like our family and countless others endure daily.
Let's continue to show the blood cancer community they are not alone in their fight.
