By walking, I’m helping fund critical research, improve treatment options, and provide meaningful support to those diagnosed. This event is also about connection and healing—walking alongside others who truly understand the journey.
Each lantern tells a story: gold for remembrance, red for support, and white for those diagnosed, living with a blood cancer, or in remission. I’m proud to be part of this community and committed to making a difference—one step, one light, and one act of hope at a time.

Ten years ago, my sister-in-law was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) and life changed forever. During her battle, the impact was huge on our family, and we are so thankful for the support the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society offered. On this special anniversary, we are coming back together as the GIFFT team (Glenda?s Incredible Family Friends Team) to celebrate the incredible gift of 10 more years of having Glenda in our lives.
