I am so happy to be fundraising for my third year in a row for Light the Night Halifax! Each Fall the team here at the LLSC joins together to fundraise for life-saving research, vital support programs and advocacy efforts which support Canadians across the country!
This year I have joined Team Violet and my calls to action will focused on supporting pediatric blood cancers.
Did you know that Leukemia is the most commonly diagnosed childhood cancer and Lymphoma is the 3rd most common? Blood cancers disproportionately affect children and young adults, and it is my hope that the continued research and efforts of the LLSC can change these facts!
