My name is Taylor and I was diagnosed with Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia (CML), a form of blood cancer that is super rare in children. 1 in a million. I was diagnosed June 11, 2024, at 12 years old. I have been on an oral chemo treatment and a year later- July 4, 2025 I rang the bell. I am in remission. I need to keep on the daily treatment for at least another 5 years. They are not sure after that, because it is so rare there is not a lot of research. We need to fund the research- not just for myself and CML, but for the advances in the treatments of all blood cancers.
I am taking the first step and showing my support. I have been asked to be on a team of 10- the Bright Lights and raise a minimum of $5,000. Of course I want to raise more- Please join me and let?s make a difference.
