Light The Night Winnipeg

Team Cheryl

Light The Night brings communities across Canada together for one evening to share stories, remember loved ones lost and pay tribute to our heroes, bringing light, love and hope to dispel the darkness of blood cancers.

Welcome to Cheryl's Light The Night team page.

Fall is here, the leaves are starting to turn colour, and it's time once again to walk together in memory of Cheryl and those who have been affected by blood cancer.

Cheryl Bell was so much to so many. A loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, auntie, friend, and colleague, she left a legacy of hope, strength, and love. She was a bright light that remains in our hearts. We miss her every day, and thank her for the memories and good times. Cheryl valued her relationships with those she loved, appreciated those around her, and treasured the memories she made with them.

This year marks the 9th anniversary of saying goodbye to Cheryl, and our 10th year of participating in Light the Night. This year's walk will be at The Forks on Saturday, October 4 from 6-9 pm. All are welcome to walk with us in Cheryl?s memory.

Each year we participate, our focus is on coming together to walk in remembrance of Cheryl, and how special she was in our lives. We also shine a light of hope for those who are impacted by cancer. Donations are welcomed, but not necessary in order to participate.

Thank you for supporting Cheryl?s team and the thousands of Canadians affected by blood cancer.
