Last year, our world changed in an instant.
Our 10-year-old son was diagnosed with leukemia, a moment no parent is ever prepared for. What followed were months filled with fear, hospital visits, chemo treatments, and an emotional rollercoaster that affected every part of our lives. Our son, who once worried about homework and soccer games, suddenly had to face a battle no child should ever endure.
But through it all, his courage has been nothing short of inspiring. He's faced every needle, every setback, and every long hospital night with a strength beyond his years. While we've had incredible support from our family, friends, and medical teams, the journey has shown us just how urgently research and support services are needed, not just for our son, but for the thousands of families going through the same fight.
That's why I'm participating in Light the Night and raising funds for blood cancer research, like leukemia. The money raised will go toward better treatments, support programs, and ultimately, a cure that doesn't create endless suffering.
This cause is deeply personal. It's about my son. It's about every child and adult still fighting. And it's about hope, hope that one day no family will have to hear the words "your child has cancer."
Every donation, no matter the size, makes a difference. Thank you for standing with us.
