Friends, Family and Industry Peers,
I’m proud to share that I’ve recently joined the Executive Leadership Committee (ELC) for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada (LLSC)—an organization that’s changing lives through breakthrough research, advocacy, and unwavering support for families facing blood cancers.
Every year, too many people—from young children to adults—are diagnosed with leukemia, lymphoma, or other blood cancers. For kids, these diagnoses turn childhoods into treatment and dreams into nightmares. And for adults, it can mean stepping away from careers, caring for their families, and navigating an uncertain future.
But thanks to the progress fueled by LLSC, there’s hope. Survival rates are improving, treatments are becoming more targeted and effective, and both children and adults are finding strength in a community that refuses to give up. As part of the ELC, I’m working to raise awareness, and support financial efforts that move us closer to a world without blood cancers—a world where kids can be kids, and adults can continue living full, healthy lives with their loved ones.
This year I'm dedicating my fundraising efforts my dear friend's daughter, who in 2017, was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia, today she is a strong, healthy ten-year-old who has been in remission and off treatment for over five years. As a community we are grateful to the exceptional team at BC Children’s Hospital and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society that provides funding for incredible cancer breakthroughs.
In their honor, I'm excited to engage my generous philanthropic community to help raise funds for medical treatments and research that help save lives. Please click here to learn more and to participate
Whether you’re personally connected to this cause or simply want to stand with those who are, I’d be honoured to have your support.
Thank you for your support!
Sincerely,
Warren
