In March 2023, just weeks after welcoming a new baby, my journey with cancer began. What followed were six rounds of intensive chemotherapy and a hard-fought path to remission in July 2023.
But in November 2024, the battle began again. Facing relapse, the next chapter brought three more rounds of chemotherapy and an autologous stem cell transplant. Now, radiation treatment continues ? with hope, determination, and the goal of reaching remission once again.
Through every challenge, the support from our community and organizations like the Leukemia & Lymphoma Societyhas made a world of difference.
This year, we?re walking as the Grey Zone Warriors ? to honor those fighting, to remember those we?ve lost, and to bring light to the darkness of blood cancer.
