Hi everyone,
This is my first year participating in Light The Night, hosted by The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada (LLSC).
I’ve been with the LLSC for just over a month now and can say that the impact that they have on the blood cancer community is just massive. Just this year, there have been 4000 individuals served and $5 million invested in much-needed research. Every 24 minutes, someone is diagnosed with blood cancer, 40% of all childhood cancers are blood cancers, and over 155,000 Canadians are affected by a blood cancer.
By contributing to our signature Light the Night event, you are helping by fueling research that’s improving cancer care and saving lives, providing support so anyone facing a blood cancer can get the information, emotional and practical support they need, and you’re helping make a different cancer experience possible by bringing light, love, and hope to show those affected by blood cancers that they are not alone.
If you are able, please consider donating to my page, and help us reach our Toronto goal of just over $1.3 million dollars! Any donation, big or small, helps bring us to this goal.
Thank you so much!
Daniela

I am taking the first step and showing my support.
