Three years ago I was diagnosed with Blood Cancer; specifically Lymphoma. It was an incredibly difficult winter of treatments: both physically, and psychologically. I'm currently in remission, and cancer free.
There have been some excellent Lymphoma treatments developed recently. These advances, and the excellent care I received at the Ottawa General Hospital, saved my life. I want to do my part to help more people here in Ottawa live long happy healthy lives.
Light The Night brings communities across Canada together for one magical evening to share stories, remember loved ones lost and pay tribute to our heroes, bringing light, love and hope to dispel the darkness of blood cancers.
Please consider supporting Leukemia, and Lymphoma Society of Canada via our Light the night Event. They were instrumental in supporting me throughout my cancer experience.
With much gratitude:
Chris
