Why is Light the Night so important to me? It is to honour my sister Carol and to continue her legacy of hope, kindness and caring. We saw a poster for Light the Night while walking the halls at KGH and she said “when I’m better we are going to do that walk and raise funds to support others”. We continue to honour Carol and also support others who are impacted by a blood cancer. We have raised over $135,000 to support research, advocacy and support for people and their families impacted by a blood cancer. Please consider donating so that we can continue to make a difference!

GoalBy walking, I’m helping fund critical research, improve treatment options, and provide meaningful support to those diagnosed. This event is also about connection and healing—walking alongside others who truly understand the journey.
Each lantern tells a story: gold for remembrance, red for support, and white for those diagnosed, living with a blood cancer, or in remission. I’m proud to be part of this community and committed to making a difference—one step, one light, and one act of hope at a time.
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page and supporting this important cause. Together, we can illuminate the path to a brighter future without blood cancers. Help me reach my goal! Share this page with friends, family, and coworkers:
