For too long, too many people have had their lives torn apart and turned upside down by cancer.

I walk in memory of Terry Dewolfe and Paul Hutchinson, two incredible men leaving incredible legacies behind when instead, they should be continuing to build them.

I walk for all of the friends I've made working at LLSC, brought together by the most heartbreaking circumstances but with tremendous fight and spirit.

I walk for my son Mackenzie who I would love to grow up in a world where he doesn't need to say goodbye to someone with cancer. He will fight with them and see them through.

Most of the advancements made in cancer treatments have be born out of blood cancer research and so this is where I take my stand.
