In October of 2021, one of my dearest friends received the news that she had ALL (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia). Less than two weeks later she was gone. This unthinkable loss has me, and many others who loved Carol, learning how to navigate in this new reality. Part of this process, for me, is helping Carol's wish to participate in Night the Light when she was better come true. I am walking for Carol to honour her and help others who are fighting, or remembering.
