I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Hodgkin's Lymphoma in April 2019 and went through ABVD chemotherapy every two weeks until October 2019. I participated in my first Light The Night in October 2019, the day after my last treatment of chemotherapy. Throughout my cancer journey I was fortunate to have the positivity and support of my family, friends, and colleagues. I have also met a lot of people through my participation with LLSC and hope to continue raising awareness and providing support to others going through a similar experience.
Light The Night brings communities across Canada together for one magical evening to share stories, remember loved ones lost and pay tribute to our heroes, bringing light, love and hope to dispel the darkness of blood cancers.
I am taking the first step and showing my support.
