This year I am joining my School Community and doing our Light the Night walk in support of my Dad who is battling Multiple Myeloma. It is a long road ahead and this is one thing that we thought we could do to show our support to fight against the dreaded C word.
This last 18 months have been quite the journey with a Global Pandemic that does not seem to be ending, to my neighbor and best friend getting Breast Cancer (must note that she is a Warrior woman who is doing amazing! So proud of her!). She recovered from all of her surgeries and treatments only for us to find out that dad is now diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma. I believe she has been a mentor to him and he was in awe of how she handled everything that she went through and he will fight how she fought her battle!
Help us reach our combined goal of $5000 (Lesley and Myself)
Any amount helps and we appreciate any and all donations!
When we walk you will be with us, we will be bringing all your names along for the journey!
Light The Night brings communities across Canada together for one magical evening to share stories, remember loved ones lost and pay tribute to our heroes, bringing light, love and hope to dispel the darkness of blood cancers.
I am taking the first step and showing my support.
