My family has been impacted by a blood cancer.
Someone near and dear to me has been diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia. While this diagnosis was devastating and overwhelming to hear, there is also so much hope. Thanks to decades of medical research and innovation, and the tireless work of countless researchers and medical professionals, a once fatal disease has become treatable with targeted drug therapies. Outcomes for patients have improved dramatically over the last 20 years. As a result, my loved one has a chance at a long, productive and full life. For that I am truly grateful.
I want to support this important work so that all blood cancer patients can have good outcomes. Please support us as my team and I ride, walk and move over the next few months to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada. Between now and October, I'm aiming to reach the 500km mark.
Thanks for the support!
