My family has been impacted by a blood cancer. As devastating as the diagnosis was to hear, there is so much hope.
Twenty-five years ago, Chronic Myeloid Leukemia was a fatal diagnosis. Thanks to decades of medical research and innovation, and the tireless work of countless researchers and medical professionals, this once fatal disease has become treatable with targeted drug therapies. Outcomes for patients have improved dramatically over the last 20 years. As a result, my loved one has a chance at a long, full and productive life. For that I am truly grateful.
I want to support this important work so that all blood cancer patients can have good outcomes. Please support us as my team and I ride, walk and move over the next month to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada. Between now and October 22, I'm aiming to reach the 500km mark.
Thanks for the support!
