Walking for Hope, Walking for Him, Walking for Them
In 2019, my father — a non-stop, hard-working business owner and the most loving, dedicated dad — was suddenly diagnosed with leukemia. What we thought were heart-related symptoms turned out to be something we never expected. From the moment those words were spoken, our entire world shifted.
We watched him endure countless rounds of chemotherapy, lumbar punctures, blood tests, crushing fatigue, loss of appetite, and so many tough days. His body weakened, but his spirit never did. Through it all, my dad fought with strength, hope, and resilience — just as he always faced every challenge in his life.
It was painful to see him so vulnerable, but it also showed us the depth of his courage, and it reminded us how fragile, precious, and unpredictable life is.
I walk for him.
I walk for the families still sitting in hospital rooms, praying for good news.
I walk for the patients fighting with everything they have.
And I walk in memory of the ones who didn’t get a second chance.
This October, I’m raising funds once again for Leukemia & Lymphoma Canada — to support research, offer hope to families, and work toward better, kinder, more effective treatments for these devastating blood cancers.
I would be so honored if you’d join me. Whether it’s through a donation, walking by my side, or spreading the word, every gesture matters. Every dollar brings us closer to a future where no one has to face this alone.
For my dad. For your loved ones. For them all.
Let’s walk with hearts full of hope.
Join our team, donate, or simply cheer us on.
Together, we’ll make a difference.
