I’m participating in the Light the Night fundraiser for blood cancer because it hits close to home. My fiancé, Pasquale has bravely faced treatment for Waldenstrom’s a rare form of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma this past year, while my father, James, is currently being monitored for a different type of non-Hodgkins. Joining this event is my way of honoring their strength and resilience, raising awareness, and supporting critical research that can lead to better treatments and, ultimately, a cure for blood cancers. Together, we can make a difference in the fight against this disease which affects too many people.
