That's right, I'm back! :D 2020 was a long and difficult year, and I am so happy to be back fundraising for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada. This will be my 8th year participating in the Light the Night walk!
I had never really given a thought to blood cancers until my best friend was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia back in 2013. Being a part of the Light the Night walk made me feel like I was helping her (and many others in the process) in my own way and helped me cope with the uncertainty of everything. And now 8 years, 1 relapse, countless chemo sessions, and 1 stem cell transplant later, she is doing great and is cancer-free! She is my main reason for doing this year after year.
I hope to do this year after year, for as long as I can. But I can't do it without YOU! By sponsoring me for the Light the Night walk, you are helping fund life saving cancer research, as well as patient care programs. There is no donation too small, as ever dollar can help make a difference in the lives of those affected by blood cancers. Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my page. Let's kick some ass!
