Light The Night brings communities across Canada together for one magical evening to share stories, remember loved ones lost and pay tribute to our heroes, bringing light, love and hope to dispel the darkness of blood cancers.
This is my first time taking on a leadership role within a fundraising campaign, and I am excited for the adventure ahead. Both my parents were diagnosed with cancers in 2020 and 2021, a year into their respective retirements. They are in remission today – thanks to research. Although I have beenvery busy with my young family, I have been thinking about getting involved to help fight this terrible disease. Now seems like the perfect timing. I hope to bring passion, dedication, and determination as Co-chair of Light The Night 2023.
Ever since I was a kid, I was very curious about the world and decided to go backpackingon my ownto South America when I was just 19. I will tell you that it was the best decision I have ever made– my travels and experiences made me adaptable and very sensitiveto the world around me.
I graduated from John Molson School of Business with a business degree and during my undergrad years, Iwas very involved in different student committees at Concordia. Making a difference and having an impact on a larger scale was always extremely important to me. I have been successfully evolving in sales throughout my career, which started at Xerox. I havesince been leaving my mark with customers at FedEx, a leading logistics and transport company, for the last 13 years. I am a go getter, who likes to set high objectivesfor myself, and Igive myself the means to my ambitions.
Thank you for your donation which will benefit from a MATCH, dollar for dollar. Together, we can reach our goals twice as fast and help blood cancer research go twice as far!
