The Jim Abernethy Challenge will be the featured charitable initiative at the RIMS Canada conference in 2023, taking place in Ottawa.
This Challenge is a tribute to the memory of Jim Abernethy, a remarkable leader, colleague, and friend from the Insurance industry, who we lost after his valiant battle with lymphoma. Jim was an avid cyclist, a lover of physical activity, and he always embraced the spirit of healthy competition. As a part of this year's challenge, Marsh Canada is organizing a scenic walk in Ottawa.
Date: Monday, September 11th
Time: 3:30pm to 4:30pm.
Place: National War Memorial on Confederation Square
There is no fee to participate, but we encourage you to donate and show your support for a future with better treatments and ultimately cures. All donations will be in support of the Leukemia and Lymphoma society of Canada.
