To Friends, Family and Work Colleagues,
This will be my 13th year associated with Light The Night Fundraising Event in Halifax. Over the last 8 years I have been a part of IMP Solutions, and our team has raised over $200,0000 in that period. I have personally raised over $35,000 of that.
This year is special year (and a sad one) for me as my Dad passed away earlier in 2024 after a fight with both bladder cancer and leukemia. There is such irony with Dad having this very difficult cancer at the end after I have spent 13 years doing the fundraising and the walk for the same cancer(s). The universe works in different ways, I guess!
It is a great cause and on October 26th the City of Halifax will be doing the walk. All companies and individuals hope to get to $1M this year for the Halifax alone. We were so close last year at $960K.
