The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada (LLSC) is a national voluntary health agency dedicated to blood cancers. They provide free information and support services to patients and caregivers, fund lifesaving blood cancer research across Canada, and advocate for better access to treatments and care. They also organize the Light The Night event, which is a walk to celebrate and honor blood cancer survivors, as well as those lost to the disease.
I support LLSC because I believe in their mission and vision. I want to help them find a cure for blood cancers and improve the quality of life of those affected by them. I also want to honor the memory of people that I've lost to blood disease.
Light The Night brings communities across Canada together for one magical evening to share stories, remember loved ones lost and pay tribute to our heroes, bringing light, love and hope to dispel the darkness of blood cancers.
Having lost people close to me because of such a horrible disease, this cause allows me to both honor their memories, and to help fight so that others will not have to endure the same sense of loss. Honoring the memories of those we've lost will help eradicate these diseases for future generations.
I choose to remember and to take a step to support this fight and honor those that we've lost.
Feel free to make a donation if you're able to.
Thank you!
