Light The Night brings communities across Canada together for one magical evening to share stories, remember loved ones lost and pay tribute to our heroes, bringing light, love and hope to dispel the darkness of blood cancers.
I am taking the first step and showing my support. In June 2023, my daughter, Jessica, was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. As her mom, I would love to wave a magic wand and take it all away. But unfortunately, life doesn't work that way. So instead, I am going to do what I can to raise awareness about blood cancers and rally friends and family for support.
Jessica is currently in remission after receiving 6 months of chemotherapy. But I also know that there is a chance that Jessica, and others with similar diagnoses, may need further treatments or could relapse in the future.
We would be so very grateful if you would consider supporting this wonderful cause so that research in the field of blood cancer can continue. With further research, patients like Jessica will have a Plan B or Plan C available to them if they need it.
