There is no doubt in my mind that supporting blood cancer research has a huge impact on our young people.
”Leukemia is the second leading cause of cancer deaths (after cancers of the brain and other nervous tissue) among children, adolescents and young adults younger than 20 years.”
But we also know that there has been a huge reduction in child cancer deaths (78.6 percent) since 1969 because of advances in cancer treatment.
All of that is good reason for me to focus my campaign on raising money for cancer research for the benefit of future generations. Please consider supporting me in this critical cause.
My Story
In September 2015 I was diagnosed with non Hodgkin Lymphoma and have received various chemotherapy regimens, radiation, two clinical trials and the ground breaking CAR T-cell treatment. One year ago (2023) I was diagnosed with Myelodysplastic Syndrome and I am no longer receiving treatment but we are working on maintaining quality of life.
Again, please consider helping me raise funds for vital research and cancer patient support.
