There is something about being the youngest child and having a sibling diagnosed with cancer. Suddenly you feel vulnerable, anxious and afraid. For me it has hit particularly hard because it is not just any sibling but an older brother, a protector, a supporter, a guide (especially now that my Dad has gone on his next journey). My big brother Al, whom I have shared so much with has been on this path for sometime now but the "light" we have seen together in the advances in treatments and quality of life are wonderous!
Light The Night brings communities across Canada together for one magical evening to share stories, remember loved ones lost and pay tribute to our heroes, bringing light, love and hope to dispel the darkness of blood cancers.
Please join us on our journey and share your support in anyway you can. Every contribution no matter how big or small allows LLSC to make advances and provide support to those who need it.
Thanks to all you fabulous people! <3
