If you know me, you likely know that my dad, Gerald Pitts has been flighting Large B Cell Lymphoma, a very aggressive cancer, and has undergone many rounds of chemo. This is his second time battling a blood cancer, he faced a similar fight a little over 20 years ago.
When I heard about Light the Night, I wanted to get involved for dad's sake and for anyone facing a blood related cancer diagnosis. Having witnessed how awful chemo can be, wreaking havoc on the body, I am doing this in the hopes that we can get to a place where treatment will be better for future patients, so early detection can save lives. so others will not suffer the way i have watched my beloved father suffer.
