Hello friends
In life, there are milestones and then there are milestones.
As we get ready for our 20th Light the Night Walk where we will hopefully raise $7000 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, we are reflecting on just how the world was dramatically different back then, and not just for us.
In 2004:
- we were waiting for the news of the arrival of our 2nd niece; Camille has now finished with school and is out in the working world (and 2 more nieces would arrive in the following years!).
- we had been a couple for not quite 3 years, and had been living together for less than 1; in February, we will celebrate 24 years… and counting.
At this time, we also pause to remember how lucky we are and how we wouldn’t be here today without the research and innovation that is made possible by the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and the funds raised in the Light the Night Walk.
This brings us to this year and our letter to ask once again for your support. This year we are hoping to raise $7000. Your support goes to help other people so they might have the opportunity to have their 20 years. Every donation will make a difference and means so much to us and the people you are helping; thank you.
