Hi! Welcome to my page. Thanks for checking it out.
My name is Jessie and I was halfway through my first year of my internal medicine residency when I was diagnosed with AML. I went from caring for patients in hospital to becoming a patient myself.
After 6 months of treatment and a few admissions to the hospital, I am now in remission. Let's spread some hope and positivity and help find a cure for blood cancer! :)
I will be drawing comics for my team members and smaller drawings for the top donators. As well, I am pledging to walk 10k steps per day for the month of October - something I used to do easily when I was working in hospital. But a few months ago I wasn't even able to walk around the block, so it's going to be a good challenge for me during this recovery period.
