The memories of 2 special people in my life will forever be scarred by the unimaginable loss I felt when they left this world.
When your best friend tells you their child has just been diagnosed with cancer, there is no hug strong enough, no cry long enough and no fundraiser rich enough that can ever take away that pain. What can I do? Raise awareness.
When my sister Mary was diagnosed we barely had a chance to even try to pronounce the lengthy type of cancer she was fighting, and didn’t stand a chance at beating. Leaving a family behind in grief was not the way she wanted to retire.
What can I do?
I know I’m not alone, there are so many parents and children and friends left behind, and so many of them that are still fighting.
