Light The Night brings communities across Canada together for one magical evening to share stories, remember loved ones lost and pay tribute to our heroes, bringing light, love and hope to dispel the darkness of blood cancers.
I am taking the first step and showing my support.
I will be riding as much as I can over the next month and will be thinking of my sister-in-law, Stephanie, and her mother, Pauline, both of whom are afflicted by forms of blood cancer. Stephanie was only recently diagnosed; further highlighting how blood cancers continue to affect us all.
I will also be thinking of my own Mum who passed away in April 2023 from skin cancer - we miss you everyday, Mum.
