Light The Night brings communities across Canada together for one magical evening to share stories, remember loved ones lost and pay tribute to our heroes, bringing light, love and hope to dispel the darkness of blood cancers.
I am taking the first step and showing my support by starting this team for my dad Stephen. In April 2024, my dad went for a regular check up at the doctors office. After his blood work he learned life changing news. My dad was diagnosed with chronic lymphocytic leukemia. He has only just begun his journey but we want to share it with everyone so we can support him and all of the other families affected by blood cancers. We are lucky to have the treatment options available to help him on his journey. These treatment options would not be possible without events such as Light The Night.
Dad, because of you, I know that heart and integrity belong together, that humor and sincerity can coexist, and that generosity and determination make almost anything possible.
