My sister and I founded Light the Night Regina in 2014 after our brother was diagnosed with Lymphoma. Following the first year, our nephew was diagnosed with Lymphoma and is facing a re-diagnosis again this year. In addition to our immediate family, we have had several friends diagnosed with blood cancer. This drives home the importance of awareness, fundraising, and support.
We couldn't be more proud of our community continuing to support this important cause since we started the walk.
Light The Night brings communities across Canada together for one magical evening to share stories, remember loved ones lost and pay tribute to our heroes, bringing light, love and hope to dispel the darkness of blood cancers.
I am taking the first step and showing my support.
