Every year, thousands of families are touched by blood cancers, and each story is unique, filled with courage, hope and love.
As a pediatric oncology nurse, I have witnessed the extraordinary resilience and strength of children affected by blood cancers.
My passion for bringing support and hope to families inspired me to get involved in this important cause, and that's why I'm participating in the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada's flagship event.
Light the Night is more than just an event; it's a solidarity movement, a gathering where each and every one of us can play a crucial role in the fight against blood cancers.
That evening, lanterns will light up skies across Canada, symbolizing not only the memory of those we have lost, but also the strength and determination of those who continue to fight. By uniting our voices and our hearts, we create a collective light capable of shattering the darkness of cancer.
That's why I'm taking the first step to show my support!
My "Give to Save" campaign is a vehicle to support the importance of supporting research. Thanks to your support, we can contribute to PedAL, an innovative landmark clinical trial for pediatric acute leukemia.
By making a donation, YOU can also be the voice that speaks out, the hand that reaches out and the light that can help speed up the development of treatments for blood cancers.
