Some of you may not be aware because I am a mostly a private person but my big sister Carolyn Bagarollo was diagnosed with two very aggressive forms of leukemia a little over a year ago and has been bravely fighting with everything she has every single day since then. I am truly in awe of her strength and resilience. She is my hero!!!! But unfortunately she is not alone in this fight. So many other families are going through the exact same thing and so that is why it is so important to help shed light on this all too common and aggressive cancer. Light The Night brings communities across Canada together for one magical evening to share stories, remember loved ones lost and pay tribute to our heroes, bringing light, love and hope to dispel the darkness of blood cancers.
I am taking the first step and showing my support.
