Light The Night unites communities in honouring those affected by blood cancers, shining a light of hope in the fight against these diseases.
As a second-year Master’s student at the Institute for Research in Immunology and Cancer (IRIC) and the University of Montreal, I am working on developing a graphene-based immunosensor to detect acute myeloid leukemia (AML). My work is driven by a passion for transforming scientific discoveries into real-world healthcare solutions, with the goal of improving early detection and treatment of cancer.
Our IRIC team is proud to participate in Light The Night, supporting patients and raising awareness of the importance of cancer research. Public involvement plays a crucial role in advancing research and moving us closer to new treatments and breakthroughs.
